Tragic final photo of Warne shows star walking through villa hours before death

A tragic photo of Australia legend Shane Warne has emerged, picturing him walking through his luxury villa in Thailand mere hours before his tragic passing.

Warne died suddenly from a heart attack at the age of just 52 while on holiday on the island of Koh Samui, with his death leaving the cricket world in a state of shock and mourning.

And shortly before his passing, Warne was captured on CCTV returning to his villa after meeting his tailor, Parsuram Panday.

"I love cricket and Shane Warne was a hero of mine. It was a great privilege to make his suits," Panday told The Sun.

"He was due to collect his clothes on Saturday or Sunday so when I saw the news that he had died, I was shocked. I was devastated.

"I couldn’t believe that I was speaking with him just a few hours earlier. When he came into the shop he was so happy, strong and full of life and energy.

"He was buzzing with excitement. He said he was ready for a break because it had been a busy summer in Australia. He was looking forward to going out to the bars."

In a statement, Warne's family spoke of their "never-ending nightmare" since the legendary spinner's sudden passing.

"To find words to adequately express our sadness is an impossible task for us and looking to a future without Shane is inconceivable, hopefully the mountain of happy memories we all have will help us cope with our ongoing grief," the statement read.

Warne's son Jackson added: "I don’t think anything is ever going to fill the void you have left in my heart.

"Sitting at the poker table, walking around the golf course, watching the Saints and eating pizza is never going to be the same.

"But I know all you ever wanted for me is to be happy, no matter what. So, that’s what I’m going to do, try and be happy.

"I am going to miss you so much Dad and you were truly the best father and mate anyone could’ve asked for. I love you so much Dad, see you soon."
