Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun replicated his father as he scored a stunning century for Goa in the Ranji Trophy during his first-class debut.
Father Sachin, who is the highest scoring Test batsman of all-time, hit a hundred on his Ranji Trophy debut for Mumbai in 1988 at the age of just 15.
Arjun, 23, moved from Mumbai to Goa this season in search of more opportunities and impressed during his maiden Ranji Trophy appearance against Rajasthan.

Gracing the crease at No 7 on day two, he slammed a ton off 177 deliveries and put on a 200-run partnership alongside fellow centurion Suyash Prabhudesai, who went on to total 212 runs.
The left-hander knocked 120 runs with 16 fours and two sixes before his caught and bowled dismissal by Kamlesh Nagarkoti.

Goa were 493 runs for eight wickets at the close of play on day two, establishing a commanding position in their first innings of the Test match.
Arjun, who is a left-arm medium fast bowler by trade, represented India at under-19 level in 2018.
The youngster was hoping to impress in the IPL with Mumbai Indians during the 2021 season, but he never made it off the bench and moved to Goa in August.
During his illustrious career with the bat, Sachin recorded the most runs in both red and white ball cricket, and remains the only cricketer to have scored 100 international centuries.
