How day three unfolded: Boland shines under lights

Scott Boland enhanced his specular reputation as a second innings destroyer by demolishing the West Indies’ top order as Australia heads for victory in the second Test at the Adelaide Oval.

The strong Victorian seamer claimed three wickets in his first over on Saturday as the West Indies crumbled to 4-38 at stumps in their second innings during the third evening of the Test. The undermanned tourists are still 458 behind with two days to play.

Australia claimed the last six first-innings wickets in the first session, before racing to 6-199 in 31 overs and declaring for the fourth time in the series, sending the West Indies in under lights for the second time in two days.
