Australia v India LIVE: fourth Test, day five

Don't forget the World Test Championship

What were Australia thinking, batting on to the bitter end when most expected a declaration at tea or shortly after?

There was the series win and repossession of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which when held occupies a place on the national mantelpiece almost alongside the Ashes.

The all-important weather

The news is good for a start in half an hour.

Welcome

Hi everyone and welcome to the final day of the Australia-India Test series. The stage is set for an enthralling finale with India to resume at 0-4, chasing 328. Australia need to win to regain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy while a draw is enough for the tourists.
