What happened on day three?
Well, England were 4-278, and then Nathan Lyon appeared in crutches and they were all out for 325 just 15 overs later and Australia took a 91-run lead into their second innings. The hosts had a chance to punish Australia but were seemingly incapable of doing so, doubling down and going harder when perhaps the occasion called for stepping back and having a little think. Is it #bazballout time yet? Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. This match is not over. But suffice to say Pat Cummins’ side are well on their way to a 2-0 series lead, heading back out at 2-130 and ahead by 221 runs. Usman Khawaja (58) is in fine touch and Steve Smith (6) appears to be digging in, looking to back up his first-innings hundred.

Good evening and welcome …
… to our live coverage of day four of the second Ashes Test. Coming to you from the Bowral bureau. The fire is cranking and the Bradman Oval is just down the road. What a setting.
The setting at Lord’s thankfully is looking a little clearer than yesterday, when rain forced a premature end to day three. Because of that the action will continue a little later today under London’s summer skies.
