World’s Scariest Man pictured as skinny teenager before huge body transformation
A picture of the World's Scariest Man, AKA Martyn Ford, shows him as a skinny teenager before he underwent his astonishing body transformation.
Ford, 39, is currently preparing to face off with the 'Iranian Hulk' Sajad Gharibi in a boxing match at London's O2 Arena this April.
He more than lives up to his moniker, standing at 6'8" tall and weighing in at 22 stone of pure muscle.
However, 20 years ago he was far from the monster of a man he is today.
Growing up he had been a promising cricketer until an injury prevented him from playing and left his mental health reeling.
Ford began battling an eating disorder after he had also contracted glandular fever.
He starved himself to the point that he collapsed while on a walk with his mum.
His skinny physique as a 19-year-old means he is almost unrecognisable to his current shape and size.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Sport, he said of that time: "It allowed depression and anxiety to creep in. I was obsessed with trying to become something that I wasn’t.

"It was obvious I wouldn’t be able to make it as a cricketer but I wanted to do something in the fitness industry.
"I became obsessed with having a six pack. I was naive to food and the way the media portrays fitness individuals.
“I had a lot of pressure on my shoulders from myself to look a way and to be a certain way. It was also a lack of knowledge, I was only young at the time."
After meeting with doctors, nutritionists and therapists, Ford corrected his eating habits.
He now focuses on keeping his diet right while combining cardio and strength training, working out five times a week.
It certainly seems to be paying off as he completely humiliated the Iranian Hulk during their first ever face-to-face.
After shoving his soon-to-be opponent to the ground, he brushed off Gharibi's attempt at a rugby tackle and left him on the floor again.
