The World's Scariest Man – a.k.a. Martyn Ford – has been showing off his frightening agility despite weighing around 100lbs more than former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

The monster 39-year-old is training for his highly-anticipated clash with Sajad Gharibi – otherwise known as The Iranian Hulk – at the O2 Arena in April in what promises to be one of the most extraordinary boxing matches of all time.

He looked freakishly fast for a man of his stature during a couple of training videos on a recent post on Instagram, suggesting to fans there's more to him than simply being a giant brute.

"Float like an elephant, sting like a sponge," Ford wrote sarcastically alongside a clip of him dancing around the ring effortlessly while throwing a number of jabs at his trainer.

He then posted a second video of himself launching a flurry of rapid punches towards a stationary camera – giving The Iranian Hulk a taste of what's to come.

"April 2nd. O2. Now I'm here. Now it's real. Now I'm excited," Ford said in a post on Monday.

"So if you want to experience what I promise is going to be one of the most ferocious introductions to the fight world, make sure you've bought your tickets now."

Ford, a towering former bodybuilder from the West Midlands, was in attendance for Kell Brook's victory over Amir Khan at the AO Arena in Manchester on Sunday, and nearly had to intervene after a fight broke out between a group of fans right next his seat.

Posting a video of the brawl on social media, he wrote: "I apologise to the poor people behind me for the standing all night at the fight, but this would be why."

Also known as 'The Nightmare', Ford has his sights set on a match against Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson after he dispatches Gharibi.

"I’d love to challenge The Rock to a fight. We’d make a fortune," Ford told Muscle and Health.

"It would be a phenomenal fight because he’s a great athlete. He’s very mobile, strong and comes from a wrestling background."
