Woodleys coach responds to "theory" Jake Paul fight was fixed using "KO signal"
Tyron Woodley's coach has lashed out at reports that his fighter took a dive against Jake Paul after sceptical Twitter users thought they spotted a 'knockout signal' from the YouTuber.
The pair went head-to-head in a rematch of their August bout in Cleveland, Ohio, which was won by Jake by split decision, after Tommy Fury was forced to withdraw through injury and illness.
The 24-year-old ended the rivalry with a strong right hand in the sixth round of the contest – but the debate over the result didn't end there for viewers.
Footage from seconds before the KO seemed to show Jake twisting his wrist to show his opponent the back of his glove – which some believe to be a signal that the fight needed to come to an end.
"Nice signal with your right wrist – he took the knock down right after. RIGGED," wrote on fan on Twitter.
Another said: "Look at that glove twist! He's telling Woodley to hit the deck. What a joke."
"He literally dropped his guard when Jake Paul was coming in. Come on man, no wonder why people don’t give as much of a s*** about boxing, it’s rigged to hell," another fan wrote.

Woodley's coach Din Thomas has now been asked about the doubters, and insisted that his fighter took the event extremely seriously and insisted that he knew of no wrongdoing.
Thomas, a former mixed martial artist, won 26 of his 36 professional bouts between 1998 and 2013, and provides insight as an analyst on UFC broadcasts.
"That whole theory, it makes me laugh. Because being in his camp, I know how serious it was," he told MMA on Sirius XM.
"It was serious like Tyron really wanted this win back, he really wanted this fight and it was a serious thing."
Thomas added: "Now, if it was a dive, I wish they told me about it because I wouldn't have shown up and taken the night off.
"I'd be like partying but that wasn't the case. I mean it was a real, legit fight."
