Tyson Fury’s taunt as he mocks "p***y* Anthony Joshua in singalong with fans

There's no sign that Tyson Fury will meet British boxing rival Anthony Joshua in the ring anytime soon, but the needle between the pair is alive and well.

That's after the 'Gypsy King' started a chant against his heavyweight nemesis on his United Kingdom tour, urging fans in their dozens to call Joshua a "p***y."

Fury, 33, is currently doing the rounds on The Homecoming Tour, venturing around some of the UK's biggest venues following his trilogy victory over Deontay Wilder in October.

The WBC heavyweight champion was scheduled to fight Joshua in Saudi Arabia earlier this year, and an agreement was in place before Fury was ordered to fight 'The Bronze Bomber' for a third time instead.

It's still possible Fury and 'AJ' will get their much-anticipated all-British showdown in the foreseeable future, and the former has been stirring the pot since his return to the UK.

Footage emerged online from one of Fury's recent tour stops, where the Wythenshawe native can be seen whipping the Manchester audience into a chorus of "AJ is a p***y, AJ is a p***y, na na na na."

Much of the crowd appeared only too happy to join in, with tensions between Fury and Joshua high at the moment as each fighter eyes a date opposite Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury also belted out a rendition of 'American Pie' by Don McLean, having gone viral for singing the song in the ring immediately after his first win over Wilder in February 2020.

Joshua has priority to face Usyk in a rematch after losing his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO titles to the Ukrainian in September, but the 32-year-old has hinted he'd also step aside for the right price.

That would allow Fury to take on the former cruiserweight in the hope of becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion, aligning the belts in preparation for a blockbuster clash against Joshua.

Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn recently dismissed the suggestion that Joshua would be paid off to make way for Fury, saying his fighter's "only focus is on the rematch", but Joshua himself said he could take a deal to give up the rematch if it makes business sense.

Frank Warren, who represents Fury in the UK, has hinted discussions are underway with Joshua's team to find a resolution.

"Everybody wants to see him [Fury] and Usyk. That's what we want to see," Warren told iFL TV.

"AJ, I see his interview last week, which was a little bit confusing. If you listen to what he's saying, he's basically saying 'if I get the right money I'll step aside'.

"So that's really where we've got to get to as a team, the Tyson Fury team. We're all working hard to make that happen and it just may happen.

"And if it does, then Tyson will meet him (Usyk) and the four belts will be on the line. And I hope that's gonna be the case."

Hearn confirmed to Boxing King Media that negotiations for Joshua to step aside have begun, though he suggested it may take a sum of £40million to convince 'AJ' to budge.

Asked whether seven figures would be sufficient for the heavyweight star to give up his rematch with Usyk, Hearn replied: "Seven figures? A million? If you want to get him not to fight Oleksandr Usyk you have to times that by 40. . ."
