Tyson Fury taunts ‘bum’ Anthony Joshua with damning Deontay Wilder KO prediction
British world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has boldly predicted that former rival Deontay Wilder would knockout Anthony Joshua inside three rounds if the two met in the ring.
Back in October, Fury defeated Wilder to retain his WBC title in Las Vegas as their highly-anticipated grudge trilogy lived up to its billing.
After Wilder picked himself up from a 10th-round knockdown, Fury delivered the killer blow with a crushing 11th round knockout strike.
Wilder and Joshua have been linked with a heavyweight clash for a number for a number of years, with promoter Eddie Hearn insisting back in 2018 that the Brit was interested in a unification bout against the American.
Joshua held the WBA, WBO and IBF world titles for three years while Wilder was the WBC champion and defended his title on six occasions.
Unfortunately, both men lost their belts and the gargantuan fight fans craved never materialised as Wilder lost to Fury while Joshua suffered the second defeat of his career when he lost to Oleksandr Usyk.
Usyk – now a two-division champion – dethroned the Brit in front of 65,000 fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the former undisputed cruiserweight champion comfortably outclassing Joshua.
And now Fury, a long-term rival of Joshua, has backed 'the Bronze Bomber' if he and AJ ever come to blows.

“I’d say Deontay Wilder would KO the bum inside 3 rounds,” Fury wrote about the fight on Twitter.
Fury clashed with Wilder three times, twice defeating the 36-year-old after a controversial draw in their first contest four years ago.
Wilder suggested ‘the best is yet to come’ when it comes to his boxing career, and his manager Shelly Finkel – speaking prior to the third fight with Fury – added the American would face Joshua in the future.
“We’d definitely fight him, win or lose," Finkel told The Sun.
“If I was managing Joshua, a rematch is where I would go (next). I'm looking out for Deontay, and that's all I'm looking out for, but I have been a fan of Joshua.
“He's been a good representative of the heavyweight division. He needs to redeem himself, I don't think he's the same fighter he was before the fight with Ruiz and I feel early in this fight he got hit and wobbled by Usyk and that changed everything.
“He didn't come forward, he came on a bit in the middle rounds, but the thing is he didn't do what he had to do to win. I think Usyk will be more confident in the next fight but Joshua has a very good opportunity in the rematch.
“I picked him to win the first fight because of his size and I didn't think Usyk looked great against either Chazz Witherspoon or Derek Chisora.”
Joshua and Usyk’s rematch is set to be confirmed soon with April or May pegged as potential dates, while Fury will likely defend his crown against Dillian Whyte in April 2022.
