Tyson Fury states he would take all YouTube boxers ‘out in one night’

Tyson Fury has stated he would “deal with the YouTubers” by “taking them all out in one night” if he ever stepped into YouTube boxing.

Misfits boxing has become quite the hot topic over the last few years with the likes of British YouTuber KSI and American Logan Paul pioneering the controversial cross-over. Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather has already had exhibition bouts against Paul and KSI’s brother Deji Olatunji, while the likes of Conor McGregor have also been called out.

The disruptive division's snowballing popularity culminated with a five year partnership agreement with DAZN at the start of the year – there is no doubt it is here to stay. And when asked if he would ever consider stepping into the ring with the “YouTubers”, a wry grin appeared on Fury’s face.

“Yes, I’d fight them all at once,” the Gypsy King gleefully said in an exclusive interview with Daily Star Sport, while promoting Wow Hydrate. “I don’t know how many YouTube boxers there are.

“But, let’s say there are 50 of them. What we will do is get all 50 of them in a row and then put them all in for a round each.

“Then I’ll take them all out in one night. Why not? Each one of them will get to do one five minute round and see if they can last. That’s how you deal with the YouTubers. All in one night!”

Ironically, Fury’s younger brother Tommy is expected to take on former YouTuber now turned professional boxer Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia on February 26.

Fury has previously joked Tommy would have to stay in Saudi if he loses to the former Disney star. The WBC Heavyweight champion is currently preparing for his winner takes all bout against Oleksandr Usyk. Their eagerly anticipated undisputed heavyweight clash is expected to take place on April 29, but a venue is yet to be determined. Saudi Arabia and Wembley Stadium are the two front runners to host the titanic tussle.

Boxing has run in the Fury bloodline for many generations. His younger brother Roman became the ninth professional boxer in his family and even won his first fight against Ryan Hibbert in October.

But despite the incredible legacy Fury’s family has in the sport, he said he will not put too much pressure on his children to put on the boxing gloves after him. “I think it’s entirely up to them what they do,” Fury added.

“But, I think it’s very important they learn to protect themselves. Boxing is very good for kids in my opinion. It teaches them discipline and respect.”
