Tyson Fury has offered an expletive-ridden reaction to Oleksandr Usyk beating Anthony Joshua for the second time. The unbeaten Ukrainian defended his unified WBO, WBA and IBF world heavyweight titles by winning a brilliant 12-rounder via split decision in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night. But Fury labelled both fighters “s***e” in a video posted to his Instagram story as he watched the scrap surrounded by friends and family.
Though Joshua was much improved from the first fight for the Rage on the Red Sea, Usyk was still the superior boxer throughout and the deserving winner despite one judge scoring it in the Briton’s favour. It is hoped Usyk’s back-to-back wins over Joshua will set the scene for a thrilling showdown with Fury, who has once more reversed his decision to retire from the sport.
And the Gypsy King was quick to react to Joshua’s defeat and Usyk’s victory as he posted on his Instagram shortly after the split decision was announced. He said in a video: “I’ll be honest with you guys, after watching that, the both of them were s***e. It was one of the worst heavyweight title fights I’ve ever seen.
“It was bulls***! I would annihilate both of them on the same night. F***ing s***e. Get your f***ing chequebook out cause the Gypsy King is here to stay forever!”

After his victory, Usyk had called out Fury – the WBC title holder – in an effort to put together an undisputed fight. No man has held every major heavyweight title in boxing since Lennox Lewis back in 2000.
Usyk said in the ring shortly after a bizarre impromptu speech from Joshua: “I’m sure that Fury is not retired yet. I’m convinced he wants to fight me. I want to fight him, if I’m not fighting Fury, I’m not fighting at all. Only God knows if I will be undisputed or not.”
Fury had claimed after his sixth-round technical knockout of Dillian Whyte at Wembley in April that he would retire from boxing but he then announced his return on August 12. He has been publicly angling for a third fight with countryman Derek Chisora having won their previous two bouts in 2011 and 2014.
