Tyson Fury hints he wants Oleksandr Usyk fight after Anthony Joshua defeat
Tyson Fury has hinted at a potential showdown with newly-crowned heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk following his win over Anthony Joshua on Saturday night.
Usyk produced a boxing masterclass against Joshua at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, defying pre-fight doubts over his heavyweight credentials by dominating the Brit over 12 rounds.
He rightly claimed victory thanks to scores of 117-112, 116-112 and 115-113, handing him three of the four recognised world titles in boxing's blue riband division.
Joshua insisted after the defeat that he intends to exercise his rematch clause, but Usyk will be expected to prevail if they meet again on the back of such a classy display in north London.
Should he get the better of AJ for a second time, the Ukrainian could then turn his attention to a potential undisputed battle with WBC champion Fury.
Fury is set to defend his title against Deontay Wilder on October 9, a trilogy bout he should come through successfully going by his previous two contests with the American.

He would then likely set his sights on facing the winner of Joshua and Usyk's rematch next year for all the heavyweight marbles.
And the Gypsy King has hinted that he is prepared to lock horns with Usyk if he emerges victorious, liking a post on Twitter which asks fans who would come out on top in a clash between them.

Fury's promoter, Frank Warren, believes Joshua should avoid an immediate rematch with the former undisputed cruiserweight champion.
“He shouldn’t go anywhere near Usyk – he will never beat him," Warren told the Daily Mail.
“In terms of fighting Tyson Fury, it can happen. Joshua losing has taken away the belts and he is damaged goods now.
