The fight is set to take place in Saudi Arabia, where Joshua beat Andy Ruiz Jr in late 2019
When Chavez asked Fury on Fight Hub TV whether he is preparing for a fight, the 32-year-old responded by saying ‘Yes, in July.’
A two-fight deal has already been agreed between Fury, who holds the WBC title, and Joshua, who is the WBA, IBF and WBO champion.
It is anticipated that the first fight will take place in Saudi Arabia, with Joshua and Fury having also been presented with alternative options in countries such as England, the United States and Russia.
Arum previously indicated that there are three potential dates for the first fight – July 24, July 31 or August 7.

Arum told Boxing Scene: ‘We have [site deal] contracts now that we are marking up and so forth.

Commenting on Arum’s suggestion that Fury will face Joshua in Saudi Arabia, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn told talkSPORT: ‘They’ve signed the contract. We presented them both with an offer from a site, which they both approved and accepted.
‘We are dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s and you will get an announcement soon, but that fight is going to be happening this summer.
‘It is one of the biggest of all time, probably the sporting event of 2021, so fingers crossed – we are nearly there.
‘I keep saying we are nearly there but, as I said, site approved, deal approved, everything done now.
‘We are just papering it and there will be an official announcement soon.’
