Tyson Fury claims 'nobody cares' about Anthony Joshua anymore
Tyson Fury claims ‘NOBODY cares’ about Anthony Joshua anymore, but still vows to knock his heavyweight rival out ‘for bants’… as he warns champ Oleksandr Usyk that he will ‘obliterate him’
- Tyson Fury has taunted Anthony Joshua again, and vowing to knock him out
- The Gypsy King has also sent out a warning to fellow rival Oleksandr Usyk
- Fury must fight WBC mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte before his other rivals
Tyson Fury has sent out yet more warnings to his heavyweight rivals as he vowed to knock out Anthony Joshua and ‘obliterate’ champion Oleksandr Usyk, after he beats Dillian Whyte.
Fury was especially disparaging about former world champion Joshua, insisting that ‘nobody cares about him anymore’ following two recent defeats.
The Gypsy King was in talks to fight Joshua last year, but was eventually ordered into his contracted trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder, which he won in round 11.
However, Joshua suffered defeat to Usyk at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to put an end to the deal they had reached to face each other in a world heavyweight unification decider after their respective fights.

The rematch between Joshua and Usyk is still yet to be confirmed four months later, as Joshua was recently left to ponder the idea of stepping aside to allow Usyk and WBC champion Fury to battle it out for the undisputed crown.
After talks over an Usyk unification fight went flat, Fury turned his attention back to a showdown with WBC mandatory challenger Whyte.
But Fury is not ruling out an eventual fight with Joshua, telling DubaiEyeSport: ‘I’m not sure what to think about Anthony Joshua anymore.

‘Quite frankly, nobody cares about him anymore. But I’ll knock him out just for bants.’
Joshua’s defeat by Usyk was his second in four fights, having been knocked out by Andy Ruiz Jnr in 2019.
Fury was also asked if the Ukrainian Usyk is a more dangerous opponent than Wilder, the man he drew with in 2018 but twice beat in subsequent rematches.
‘Hell no. What’s he gonna do? Tap dance around the ring and run away?’ said Fury.
‘He didn’t do any damage at all to Anthony Joshua and definitely ain’t doing damage to me. I’ll obliterate him.’
Fury didn’t stop at warning both Joshua and Usyk as he also talked about his upcoming fight against Whyte, which could be held at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium or the London Stadium.
‘Whatever I feel like on the night really. Because I don’t pay these bums too much attention, to be fair.
‘Whatever I feel like on the night. Any style, I can definitely beat Whyte. Even if I put one hand behind my back and one foot off the floor, I’ll still beat him.’
