A shirtless, belligerent Adrien Broner was caught berating the staff at a McDonald’s as one employee threatened to call the police on the troubled boxer.
‘My boy,’ Broner yelled at McDonald’s kitchen staff. ‘Come holler at me my n***** before I come grab you up back there, my boy.’
Curiously, the incident was publicized by Broner, himself. His friend recorded the exchange, which was later posted on the former champion’s Instagram page.
The location of the incident remains unclear. The 34-year-old Broner is a native of Cincinnati, but spends much of his time in South Florida, where he’s previously been arrested for drunk driving and assault.
The scene played out in a series of videos on Instagram, showing Broner and a friend making their way through the McDonald’s drive through and later confronting staff inside the fast-food chain.

‘Who was I talking to?’ Broner asked one employee at the drive-through window.
‘For real, man,’ Broner added. ‘Don’t be spitting in my s***, man.’
From there, things took a turn for the worse as the former four-division champion barged into the McDonald’s and demanded to speak with the person who prepared his food.
‘Hey, my boy,’ Broner yelled. ‘Who cooked this, my boy? Somebody check my s*** right here, my boy. I gotta check it right here to make sure nobody…’
The McDonald’s employee working behind the counter calmly told Broner that ‘you need a shirt to be in here.’
Broner, who was anything but calm, snapped back at the woman: ‘Relax, my boy.’
Maintaining her cool, the woman responded, ‘you relax.’
In spite of the staff’s skillful attempts to deescalate the situation, Broner was anything but deterred.
‘Which one of y’all did that?’ he asked. ‘Come on out here, boy.’
Broner’s rampage began in the drive through (left) and continued inside the McDonald’s, where one staffer (right) politely asked his friend to stop recording the boxer’s tirade
The woman behind the counter asked him to remain calm while threatening to call the police.
Broner – who is no stranger to law enforcement, and often boasts about his wealth – was unbothered: ‘Man, I’m not worrying about no cops. I’ll buy them too.’
Broner then turned his attention to the kitchen staff behind the counter.
‘My boy,’ Broner yelled. ‘Come holler at me my n***** before I come grab you up back there, my boy.’
While restraining her co-worker from approaching Broner, the woman behind the counter politely asked the boxer’s friend to stop recording.
‘Sir, can you put that away?’ she asked.
‘Nah, I’ll record this,’ the friend said. ‘This is crazy. She calling the police.’
It’s not clear if the police were ever called to the scene.
He last fought in June, ending at 16-month absence from the ring in a 10-round unanimous-deciison win over Bill Hutchinson.

Broner last fought for a title in 2019, suffering a unanimous-decision defeat to legend Manny Pacquiao.
His life outside the ring has been defined by legal problems and mental-health issues. Broner pulled out of a 2022 fight with Oscar Figueroa due to the latter, saying he wasn’t prepared to box due to his struggles.
‘Sorry to all my fans but #MentalHealth is real and I’m not about to play inside the ring,’ Broner said on social media.
Broner has a professional record of 34-4-1, with 24 of his 34 wins resulting from a knockout.
