Top 50 richest boxers in the world ranked – with top three worth nearly $1bn
There's no doubt about it, professional boxing is one of, if not arguably, the most lucrative sport on the planet.
For years, talented fighters have been able to cash in both in and out of the ring, with boxers earning millions upon millions for punching the living daylights out of their opponents, or by lucrative endorsement deals. Of course, that does not mean every single fighter is able to make a killing, but if you're one of the best, you can be sure you're getting a bumper payday.
The notable names that stand out when it comes to the richest boxers in the world are the likes of Tyson Fury, the Klitschko brothers, Canelo Alvarez, Manny Pacquiao, George Foreman and of course, Floyd Mayweather Jr. In fact, the latter three are nearly worth a staggering $1bn between them.

Per Wealthy Gorilla's '50 Richest Boxers in the World' list, Filipino boxer Pacquiao has a massive net worth of $200m, while Foreman is second on the list with a net worth of $300m. Mayweather tops the list with a net worth of $450m. Over the course of his career, he has earned over $1bn, a feat which can only be rivalled by the likes of Tiger Woods, Michael Schumacher and Michael Jordan, putting the 46-year-old in esteemed company.
Higher up the list however, there are plenty of famous names who are worth significantly less, but are still worth a fortune due to their time in the ring. British boxers Dillian Whyte ($7m), Joe Calzaghe ($10m), David Haye ($20m) and Carl Froch ($20m) all sit outside the top 20 richest boxers but are worth enough to crack the top 50.
