Tommy Fury backed to KO "insecure Disney Channel man" Jake Paul
Tommy Fury would knock out 'insecure' YouTube star Jake Paul according to a boxer who has sparred both men.
Light-heavyweight prospect Ahmed Elbiali, who is a 20-1 professional having only lost to future world champion Jean Pascal so far, has been in the ring with both fighters, and has predicted that Paul will never reach Fury's level.
Speaking in a YouTube video on his personal channel, Elbiali said that while the ex-Disney Channel star was a hard worker, he struggled to imagine him beating the Love Islander, even with another few years of experience.
"Personally, I've been able to spar both of these guys," Elbiali said. "On a personal note, as far as personality is concerned if it matters to you guys, I consider Tommy a true gentleman.
"In boxing and outside of boxing, not because I've developed a relationship with him or anything, it was clear off the bat.
"You can tell Jake's an insecure, Disney Channel, young man. And it's not surprising, it makes a lot of sense, there's a lot of insecurities behind that young man.
"But he's very fortunate to have done what he's done and I wish him nothing but getting knocked the f*** out by Tommy Fury.
"And I think that's exactly what would happen if they were ever to fight. I sparred Jake, and Jake in my opinion is a hard worker, that's about it.
"I have Tommy knocking Jake out, clean, the f*** out, easily hands down, it doesn't matter if Jake even has 25 fights before they step in there, he's just more athletic honestly."
Elbiali sparred Paul ahead of his second professional bout, a brutal knockout of former NBA player Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr last November.
Fury, whose older brother Tyson is the world heavyweight champion and will defend his title in a trilogy with Deontay Wilder next month, will return to the ring this Saturday against 2-0 Jordan Grant in Telford.
And while it appears that he is unlikely to fight Paul any time soon, the 5-0 boxer is making a noted step up in his fight with undefeated Grant.

Meanwhile, Paul has announced a fight with former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley to take place on August 28 as the first fight of his deal with Showtime Boxing.
No venue has been announced yet but the fighters will be required to weigh a maximum of 190lb, 10lb under the recognised cruiserweight limit.
YouTube star Paul has amassed a record of 3-0 thus far in his pro career and recently signed a deal with Showtime Boxing in America, but Woodley will be the first legitimate striking threat he has faced to date.
The former UFC welterweight champion was renowned for both his wrestling and his stand-up in his MMA career and is still a feared competitor despite losing his last four bouts.
He won the top prize in MMA by brutally knocking out famed striker Robbie Lawlor in 2016 and defended his title four times against top strikers Stephen Thompson (twice) and Darren Till, as well as jiu-jitsu legend Demian Maia.
Woodley lost the belt in early 2019 to Kamaru Usman and has since lost to Gilbert Burns, Colby Covington and Vincente Luque, who are ranked second, first and fifth respectively in the division.
