Ring girl pal hails Ebanie Bridges with throwback snap after she ‘owned’ fight
A former ring girl pal of Ebanie Bridges posted a saucy snap online to celebrate the boxing beauty winning her blockbuster title bout with Shannon O'Connell on Saturday.
The frenzy around the clash between the two Aussie fighters had been ramped up by a tempestuous build-up, with O'Connell labelling the champion a 'skanky stripper' for her love of wearing racy lingerie at weigh-ins. Bridges responded by hitting the scales on Friday in a jaw-dropping see-through outfit.
And on Saturday, Bridges, 36, again proved she was the real deal as she retained her IBF female bantamweight belt. 'The Blonde Bomber' finished off a brutal contest in the eighth round, unleashing a flurry of punches which prompted the referee to halt matters.

Since her win, congratulatory messages have poured in for Bridges, with porn star Kendra Lust and WWE wrestler Dolph Ziggler among those to dish out praise. And now Chloe Ellman-Baker, who was at the First Direct Arena, has joined the party.
She posted a picture of her and Bridges on Instagram, writing: "This once ring girl, literally owned the ring last night. Been keeping this picture ready for the results of Ebanie’s fight."

Bridges responded with three heart emojis and the words: "Thanks beauty!!!" with Ellman-Baker firing back with another compliment about her display: "SMASHED IT."
The picture also went down well with fans, with @matthew_arendswatson typing: "You too are very beautiful woman," while ahmet_chibi added: "Very stunning, beautiful lady with pretty eyes."
As for O'Connell, 39, despite being vociferous in the lead-up to Saturday, she's since gone silent after clearly being perturbed by the loss. As Bridges had her hand raised on Saturday night, 'Shotgun' Shannon opted to flick the middle finger to the crowd.
"I always did [have respect for her boxing], I gave her respect through the whole thing as a boxer, I knew she could fight," said Bridges, afterwards. "I used to look up to her, I knew it was going to be the hardest fight of my career and it was. But it's also one of the best wins and most satisfying wins of my career."
