It didn't take long for Prince Naseem's son to show glimpses of his old man.
Aadam Hamed made his pro boxing debut on the undercard of Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois' fight as he took on Vojtech Hrdy in Poland. Plenty of the talk pre-fight was about the considerable size difference between the pair.
Hamed, who is the youngest son of boxing icon Prince Naseem, was too much for his 17-year-old opponent, winning in the very first round of his career.
While his dad fought at bantamweight and featherweight, Hamed Jr's debut was in the super-welterweight category. And his opponent's corner swiftly threw in the towel with Hamed dominating from the very first second.
Both fighters took up the southpaw stance as Hrdy immediately looked worried about the young talent's threat. In the short duration of the fight, Hamed was able to showcase some impressive footwork in a central position, landing several jabs while his opponent danced around the ring.
He closed the range on Hrdy, who had nothing to offer in terms of resistance or counter-punches other than some initial lateral movement. Hrdy eventually retreated into a corner to cover up as Hamed unloaded a flurry of uppercuts.
And the towel was thrown in by the underdog's corner as he sank towards the mat. Prince Naseem, who has labelled his youngest son a "future star", was in the crowd, rather than in his son’s corner.
Aadam has not yet faltered in the public eye despite all of the hype. He trained at McCracken's Gym in Birmingham in preparation for his debut, with the gym used by former Watford star Troy Deeney.
The youngster regularly uploads videos and pictures of his training on his Instagram, showing off his ripped body and stunning speed from sparring sessions.
