Paige VanZant shoved her bare knuckle boxing rival as the MMA star’s first weight-in descended into a scuffle.

The American took to the stage ahead of her BKFC: Knucklemania fight against Britain Hart on Friday in Florida, USA.

But footage emerged from Thursday’s weigh-in which showed the fighting getting started a day early.

In the clip, VanZant stands calmly before the organisation’s president David Feldman.

Hart, though, comes charging towards the 26-year-old and gets straight into her face for the stare-down.

But the bare-knuckle debutant is not having any of it, showing her opponent as a short scuffle unfolds.

While the small crowd cheers and the tannoy announcer speaks, VanZant’s opponent can be vaguely heard hurling insults.

Silence soon falls, though, as Hart is heard saying: “This ain’t f***ing MMA, you can’t choke.

“Get the f***ing rules right before you come into the f***ing game. How about that? Get the rules right. I will touch you first tomorrow.”

VanZant also took the chance to take a dig at Hart on her Instagram page, which boasts 2.7m followers.

The 26-year-old shared an image of her making contact with her bare-knuckle opponent at the weight-in.

Accompanying the snap, she wrote: “Whoops. Forgot what sport I was in for a second.”

VanZant is taking on her first bare-knuckle fight since leaving UFC last year, signing a lucrative deal with BKFC.

And it has seen the American make an incredible body transformation, putting in rigorous training and weight-loss techniques.
