Oleksandr Usyk completes sudoku puzzle during Anthony Joshua press conference
Oleksandr Usyk spent the majority of the press conference for his fight with Anthony Joshua completing a sudoku puzzle.
Joshua and Usyk appeared in London today for the final press conference ahead of their heavyweight title fight on Saturday night.
But Usyk spent most of the presser writing on a piece of paper, that was later revealed to be a sudoku puzzle.
Mirror Fighting understands Usyk was given the sudoku puzzle by his team as a challenge to complete before the end of the press conference.
In his usual cagey manner, Usyk didn't reveal much when discussing the fight but promised to make history with Joshua.
He said: "I feel fine and I look forward to this, I would like to thank Eddie Hearn and my team as well. I'm grateful that this [fight] is happening.
"Every fight makes history and I think me and Anthony are going to make another stat in history. Something that people will talk about and remember, people will be watching on TV and it will make history
Undefeated in eighteen fights, Usyk unified the cruiserweight titles in 2018 and defended them against Tony Bellew before moving up to heavyweight.
The Ukrainian stopped Chazz Witherspoon in his heavyweight debut and outpointed Derek Chisora last October.
Usyk's manager Alex Krassyuk thinks Joshua – who will have a big height and reach advantage over Usyk – is making a mistake as he trims down for the fight.
He told MyBettingSites: "We accept AJ shedding weight as good news because formerly a lot of experts gave his weight as an advantage. Now AJ is reducing his advantage.

"I’m not sure how he’s going to be on the scale and what kind of figure he will show, but he looks slimmer than in any of his previous fights. And that makes me think that AJ wants to present some boxing tactics for Usyk.
"Some people say size never matters. I’ve heard it in many movies. Size can matter sometimes, but boxing skills, boxing intelligence, experience, proper mindset, motivation, incentive; these are smaller things that together create the whole picture."
Joshua weighed in at 240 pounds for his last fight against Kubrat Pulev, whilst Usyk stepped on the scale at 217 pounds when he defeated Chisora.
And Usyk said he's unfazed by his size disadvantage on Saturday night: "The power is not about somebody being big or small, it's in your spirit. David [Haye] was three times less weight then [Nikolai] Valuev and that shows it [weight] doesn't matter."
