Oleksandr Usyk bursts into impromptu rap to baffle Daniel Dubois at face-off
Oleksandr Usyk's tense face-off against Daniel Dubois took a bizarre turn as the Ukrainian heavyweight began rapping.
The Brit, who will try and win the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles at their August 26 meeting in Poland, took part in another press conference on Thursday (July 13).
A language barrier make the usual trash talk between two boxers less impactful – but Usyk (20-0) found a way to make a mark in his unique style.
The 36-year-old former cruiserweight king stared down his 19-1 rival, but began singing with plenty of hand guestures as they both turned to face the cameras.

Speaking on the BT Sport coverage, Carl Frampton said: "He's rapping now, is he?" Steve Bunce added: "He's a funny man… He's a very funny man."
Usyk's promoter, Alex Krassyuk, was the biggest fan of the impromptu rapping – but the small crowd did show their appreciation when he finished.
Dubois, who has only lost once in his professional career which came against Joe Joyce in 2020, is determined to kickstart a new heavyweight era.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the 25-year-old said: "I'm grateful for this opportunity and I'm ready to take it with both hands.
"This has been a long time coming and I'm ready to take it on.
"Usyk has been a great champion, but everything with a beginning, has an end. I'm ready."

Usyk, who chose to fight close to his home country of Ukraine, holds three of the four major heavyweight belts and also The Ring honours.
The WBC belt is held by Tyson Fury (33-0-1) who has signed up to fight former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in October.
The fight, which is set to take place in Saudi Arabia, will reportedly not have the WBC belt on the line.
