Mike Tyson worried Jake Paul will be locked up before pair get chance to fight
Mike Tyson has labelled Jake Paul "crazy" and says he would be locked up before they manage to fight.
During Iron Mike’s Hotboxin‘ podcast, guest Joe Rogan asked about host Tyson and the YouTube star going toe-to-toe in the squared circle. The former heavyweight champion of the world admitted that he would take on the fight owing to Paul’s wide reach and the fact there is a chance they could break Floyd Mayweather’s record pay-per-view sales – but he has concerns over Paul’s behaviour.
“You know what I worry about? I worry about him getting in trouble before the fight happens,” Tyson explained. “I’d tell him ‘Hey man, you’re going to go to jail for real, chill out’. You can be wild without going to jail. This dude is crazy, he would be throwing stuff at people, bottles, and stuff.
“Hell yeah [I'd do it], only to break the record. Jake Paul believe it or not is more profitable than the champs, this guy probably brings about 80million people to the table. Let's do it Jakey, God wouldn't that be cool.”
Tyson has previously said he would be open to the possibility of him and Paul stepping into the ring – but now it's been all but confirmed.

Paul, who is unbeaten so far in his career after winning four of his five bouts by knockout, appears to have a bit of a relationship with Tyson. The Cleveland fighter even came out to defend Tyson after the boxing legend was seen beating a passenger on a plane.
"Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat," a spokesperson said.
Paul said of the incident: "If you’re being heckled in public like Mike Tyson was you should legally get a hall pass to beat someone’s ass. This generation thinks they can get away with anything."
