“Jake Paul has the money, the fame, the team and the resources but he doesn’t have my hunger,” August said in a statement via ABC. “When that bell rings, I am going to go straight to Jake Paul and ring his bell and send him back to YouTube for good.”
Paul currently sits on a record of eight professional fights with seven wins, four via knockout, and one defeat. The loss saw him go the full eight rounds against professional boxer Tommy Fury but lose via split decision.
His last venture into the ring came against former UFC star Nate Diaz. The bout was Diaz’s boxing debut and saw Paul win via unanimous decision.
