McGregor slams “embarrassing” Mayweather and says “fight for real or f*** off”
Conor McGregor has branded old rival Floyd Mayweather "embarrassing" following his chaotic brawl with YouTuber Jake Paul on Thursday.
Mayweather, whose last professional outing was a win over McGregor in August 2017, is set to return to the ring for an exhibition against Jake's brother Logan on June 6.
At the first press conference for the exhibition on Thursday, the boxing legend claimed he would beat both brothers on the same night before Jake arrived and sparked chaos.
The latter stole Mayweather's hat and tried to run off with it, triggering a mass brawl as security and entourages tried to separate the pair.
And following the crazy scenes in Florida, McGregor has taken to social media to send a message to Mayweather's long-time advisor Leonard Ellerbe, urging his former nemesis to "fight someone for real or f*** off".
The UFC superstar wrote on Instagram: "Hey @leonardellerbe, what the f*** is Floyd at?"
"The kid curled up, didn’t fight back once, and Floyd is still running around acting the tough guy.
"The kid actually just pulled this shambles of a situation Floyd is in out of the drain for him.
"He should thank him. It’s embarrassing!
"Pro to pro it’s embarrassing. He will not scratch 10m for this fight and he knows it. It was cancelled once already.

"The world is watching this on Twitter. He’d fight a half decent pro and command 20m upwards, yet it's this s***.
"Whatever way you spin this, it’s sad. Fight someone for real, on your record, or f*** off mate. Slap head!"
Mayweather claimed to have retired after stopping McGregor inside 10 rounds of their lucrative 2017 crossover bout.
The 50-0 icon has only returned for exhibitions since bowing out from boxing, knocking out Japan's Tenshin Nasukawa on New Year's Eve in 2018.
His clash with Logan will take place over six rounds at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium on June 6.
