‘Mad’ Mayweather ready to risk ‘all his belts’ in $1bn Conor McGregor rematch
Floyd 'Money' Mayweather could put all his belts on the line as he eyes a billion-dollar rematch with MMA fighter Conor McGregor.
The pair clashed in 2017, in a sold-out T-Mobile Arena, and Mayweather – whose record stands at an unblemished 50-0 – came out on top via TKO.
Their bout stands as Mayweather's last professional appearance, and he has since taken part in exhibition bouts against Tenshin Nasukawa and Logan Paul: who he faces on June 6.
However, he reportedly wants a return to professional boxing, and a fight with McGregor could be on the horizon for the undefeated American.
"Floyd is getting mad now, he wants the fight to go ahead next year," a source close to Mayweather told The Sun.
"He's been telling everyone in his camp he's going to beat the hell out of him and saying he's got a dead record.
"Floyd is even willing to put all his belts in McGregor's weight class on the line because he's so sure he can beat him again easily.
"Right now Floyd is super-focused on his boxing…
"He even asked his girlfriend to move out temporarily so he could train without distraction."
Mayweather is currently preparing for his exhibition bout with Logan Paul, however, he is keeping one eye on a return to professional boxing.
And sources close to Mayweather believe he wants to fight Billy Joe Saunders.
