Logan Paul explains what he whispered to Floyd Mayweather during fight
Logan Paul taunted Floyd Mayweather during their exhibition bout last night as the boxing legend failed to record a stoppage victory.
The YouTube star was winless in his professional and white-collar careers having drawn with and lost to fellow internet personality JJ Olatunji, better known as KSI.
But he managed to cling on for 24 minutes against pound-for-pound boxing great Mayweather, earning a moral victory despite the fact there was no official result declared.
And he even found the time in the ring to taunt 50-0 Mayweather, feigning him waving goodbye to his legacy as the seconds ticked down towards the end of the final round.
Speaking after the fight, Paul told reporters that he had some choice words for Mayweather throughout the bout, jokingly telling the boxing legend 'b****, I do sit-ups!"
"He worked the body more than I was used to in sparring," Paul said. "When you've got a guy like Floyd who's been doing this his whole life, he knows every single button.
"Yeah he worked the body more than I had been used to, but I do neck exercises so we're good, I said to him when he hit me in the stomach 'b****, I do sit-ups!"
Paul also discussed the possibility of utilising the grappling skills he displayed later in the fight by transitioning to a career in mixed martial arts.
He appeared to like the idea, which he has flirted with before when he organised a meeting early last year with Bellator MMA president Scott Coker.
"I was grabbing him, I was," Paul admitted, "Yeah I'd do MMA for sure because I am a good grappler; I'm a wrestler at heart and I think it would be silly not to use it to the best of my ability."
Paul was expected to be handily beaten by Mayweather, although due to the Florida Athletic Commission's rules around exhibition bouts that would have meant the boxing legend had to knock him out to be declared the winner.
And that didn't happen, with the social media star impressing in brief spells despite being dominated by Mayweather throughout the event.
He struggled to keep up with the pound-for-pound great for most of the contest, but was clearly experienced enough to know that he should use his 35lb weight advantage in the clinch in an effort to frustrate Mayweather.
On the undercard, former light heavyweight champion Badou Jack picked up a handy fourth round TKO win over unknown Venezuelan fighter Dervin Colina in the penultimate bout of the evening.
And in what was the best boxing contest of the night, Luis Arias defeated former unified super welterweight champion Jarrett Hurd by split decision.
To open up the pay-per-view portion of the event, NFL star Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson made his boxing debut in a four-round exhibition with bareknuckle fighter Brian Maxwell, with whom he went the distance.
Due to the same rules as the main event, the bout had no official winner, but Johnson was put down with a brutal right hand in the fourth.
