KSI has coined his upcoming contest against Dillon Danis as the ‘easiest fight of his life’. The British YouTube sensation believes he won’t need to put much time in the gym ahead of fight night and has set himself a challenge to eat as much junk food and sweets as possible throughout camp.

Danis – a successful Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner and undefeated professional mixed martial artist (2-0) – makes his pro boxing debut on January 14 against KSI after three years of inactivity. He is best known for sparking the UFC 229 brawl which started when Khabib Nurmagomedov scaled the cage after beating Conor McGregor and threw a flying kick at Danis – whom many in the arena said had been provoking Khabib throughout the fight.

A similar altercation occurred when Danis came face to face with KSI ahead of Misfits Boxing 3, headlined by Greg Hardy and Hasim Rahman Jr. Following the official weigh-ins for the event Danis made his way up to the stage and went nose-to-nose with KSI before delivering a sucker punch to the Brit’s jaw.

The incident resulted in Bellator veteran Anthony Taylor chasing Danis out of the venue and landing a huge overhand right that sent the American stumbling backwards. Blows were then exchanged between Danis’ entourage and other bystanders as the Pan-American BJJ champion was ushered off-site.

After getting a taste of Danis’ power, KSI isn’t particularly worried about the threat he poses. Taking to Twitter, The Nightmare brutally mocked Danis’ skill set.

“Me vs Dillion Danis might be the easiest fight of my life you know. I don’t even need to train that hard lol,” he wrote.

“The only way to challenge myself against Dillion Danis is to make sure I hardly train and eat sweets and junk food all the time. Go get your presale people. Even with the lack of training and sweets, I still won’t lose.”

Danis, meanwhile, is confident he can knock out KSI. “I will KO @KSI stone dead mark my words,” he tweeted. “Me vs @KSI will be the worst beating England has taken since 1776.”
