KSI "absolutely wants" Jake Paul boxing fight as old rivalry resurfaces
A boxing match between Jake Paul vs KSI may finally be set to take place in the near future, with the latter reportedly keen to step back into the ring.
Both YouTubers have publicly stated their dislike for one another, with KSI beating Jake's brother Logan in their second fight together.
But now the rapper could be about to take on the younger of the Paul brothers, who defeated UFC star Tyron Woodley via split decision in Cleveland last night.
Speaking on the Happy Hour Podcast, KSI's manager Liam Chivers said: "It's not easy [to make a fight happen], especially not with JJ [KSI].
"Although if he said 'I want to fight someone', I'm sure we'd make it happen. But it has to be right for him.
"And people say 'will he fight Jake Paul?' – he absolutely wants to fight Jake Paul – but not until he is ready.
"He's several fights behind Jake, he's not stupid.
"Like with Logan, best team, best location, best team house, lovely place in Vegas, everything has to be perfect to give him the best possible chance without any distraction.
"That means he has to prepare again for Jake Paul and if that takes a bit longer, it takes a bit longer."
Boxing fans think Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley was 'fixed' as conspiracy theory emerges
Asked specifically whether a fight would happen, Chivers then responded: "Yes."
Paul has frequently called out KSI, accusing the Brit of ducking a fight with him due to Covid-19.
And speaking before his win over Woodley, the 24-year-old poured cold over a fight ever taking place.
"I think it's over," Paul told the Daily Mirror.
"I don't see it happening. However, I will take that fight and do it wherever or whenever and I would love nothing more than to pummel his face into the canvas.
"I think he knows the level that I've got to and he won't ever be able to even come close to beating me.
"So he'd basically be signing up to lose."
