Joshua set to face unbeaten Australian boxer who has win over UFC star on record
Anthony Joshua is being lined up to face an undefeated Australian heavyweight known as the 'Tower of Terror' in his long-awaited comeback fight.
Joshua has not won a fight in over two years and is plotting his path back to becoming the king of the division once again after damaging back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk. The former world champion is desperate to revive his career in 2023 after taking time away from the ring following the humbling rematch defeat to Usyk last August.
And Joshua is being touted to make an April return against Brisbane boxer Demsey McKean as promoter Eddie Hearn maps out the 33-year-old's road to redemption.

The Olympic gold medallist requires a rebuild if he is to claim another world title shot and rising 22-0 southpaw McKean has been earmarked as the ideal next opponent.
McKean, 32, has a win over UFC star Tai Tuivasa on his record and boxing expert Adam Catterall claimed that he will be awarded with the Joshua fight this spring.
'I'm told he's [Anthony Joshua] going to be fighting Demsey McKean – the Australian kid,'" Catterall said on the Fight Disciples podcast.
When asked if the bout will take place in April, he added: "Yeah, this is his comeback fight. Demsey McKean will be Anthony Joshua's comeback fight."

Catterall's prediction was shared by boxing journalist Gareth A. Davies, who told talkSPORT's Fight Night podcast that Joshua will make light work of the Aussie southpaw in a packed-out London venue.
"I think he'll fight Demsey McKean, the undefeated Australian who's ranked 10 with the WBO and I think 11 with the IBF,' Davies claimed.
"That will be a two or three-round knockout win for Anthony Joshua, probably at the O2 Arena, you won't be able to get a seat."
McKean has 14 knockouts in his unblemished record and is the current holder of the IBF Inter-Continental Heavyweight title.
And McKean, also promoted by Matchroom kingpin Hearn, called out Joshua after his knockout victory over Patrick Korte last year as he dreamed of a homecoming fight at The Gabba Stadium in Brisbane.
"I think I did [enough to warrant a fight against a big name]. It was an early knockout as well, and I'm going to have to hold Eddie [Hearn] to that, I think he said the Gabba against AJ."
