Anthony Joshua takes on Oleksandr Usyk in a major heavyweight clash on Saturday night. It will be one of AJ’s toughest challenges so far in his career, and could be a major stumbling block in his ambition of unifying the division.
Joshua will be risking his WBA, IBF and WBO when he clashes with Usyk this weekend.
Both fighters have beaten everybody they’ve come up against so far in their careers.
The Ukrainian has won all 18 of his previous matches, including against Tony Bellew and Dereck Chisora.
He unified the cruiserweight division before moving up to heavyweight, winning both of his fights so far in the division.
Joshua was ordered to defend his WBO title against Usyk after the collapse in talks with Tyson Fury’s camp.
AJ and Fury were expected to announce a mega heavyweight unification fight earlier this year.
But Fury’s previous opponent, Deontay Wilder, managed to force a third fight against the Gypsy King.
Usyk will now compete for his first heavyweight title at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Joshua, with AJ hoping not to slip up.
A defeat would push back Joshua’s chances of facing Fury any time soon.
