Jake Paul insisted on the inclusion of some unusual clauses in Tommy Fury’s fight contract, according to Tommy’s father John. The Love Island star faces legally changing his name to ‘Tommy Fumbles’ if he loses.

After months of tension between the two, it has been announced that the YouTube and reality star will do battle in the ring on December 18.

“[Paul’s team] are being awkward,” John Fury told BT Sport.

“The contract has been bizarre. If I was going to go through what they’ve put in the contract, we’d be here all day.

“I’ve said yes to everything; yes, yes, yes, yes, do what you’ve got to do because I know Jake Paul can’t beat Tommy no matter what he does.”

Following the fight confirmation, Paul took to Instagram and aimed more jibes at his future opponent.

He penned: “It’s finally official. Timothy had no choice but to sign the contract so he could finally pay his bar tabs, afford a shirt for the club, and stop living off Molly!

“December 18th in Tampa Bay Im changing this w****r’s name to Tommy Fumbles and celebrating with Tom Brady.

“Pucker up Timmy… it’s time to kiss your last name and your family’s boxing legacy goodbye. Ez money lineup here aye? #PaulFury One Will Fall.”

In response, Fury, younger brother of Heveryweight boxing champion Tyson, posted a social media message of his own which read: “Time to do what should’ve been done to you a long time ago….You’re getting knocked spark out.”

While Fury is gearing up to face Paul next month, the 22-year-old and girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague are coming to terms with their house being burgled recently.

The culprits stole £800,000 worth of goods, which included jewellery.

A representative for the influencer told Mail Online: “Molly is doing well considering the circumstances. “It has been a very distressing time but she is trying to be positive.”

A source told the publication that the Love Island runners up are “extremely shaken up” and have no plans on returning to the property.

They added: “Unfortunately they feel they have been targeted and don’t feel safe there any more.”

The thieves reportedly got into the property from the rear by smashing balcony windows and doors.

It has been reported that the couple’s rented Cheshire home is already up for lease again.
