Fury, meanwhile, refused to reveal what is next for him despite finally putting Wilder to bed on Saturday night.
Whe asked what’s next, the Gypsy King said: ‘I’m the WBC champ, Ring Magazine champion and the lineal champion. You know what, I have to say thank you to my trainer SugarHill (Steward) because if it wasn’t for Sugar, America’s own, Detroit’s own, I wouldn’t have got through that fight tonight.

‘He told me: get your jab working big dog and chew that right hand down the middle. Only the big dogs pull it out late on in fights. And I said: “Yes, I got ya” and I pulled it out the bag.
‘Big shout out my dad, my mam, my kids all watching, I know you’ve had your hearts in your mouth tonight but don’t ever doubt me. When the chips are down, I can always deliver.’
Fury then signed off his interview on the night in his typical style – singing ‘Walking in Memphis’ on the microphone.
