Jake Paul has been taking advice from Evander Holyfield as the duo prepare for bumper bouts against Ben Askren and Mike Tyson respectively.
YouTuber Paul is set to fight former UFC Welterweight challenger Askren after demolishing former NBA professional Nate Robinson back in November.
Holyfield on the other hand has been desperate to organise a trilogy bout against Tyson after Iron Mike impressed in a comeback exhibition against Roy Jones Jr.
After Paul posted a clip of the pair exchanging tips inside a practise ring, the veteran wrote on Instagram after their meeting: “Good luck Jake Paul on your upcoming fight.”
Despite agreeing to take on Askren, the younger of the Paul brothers has not given up on his pursuit of Conor McGregor following the Irishman’s defeat to Dustin Poirier.
He said earlier this month on the I AM ATHLETE podcast, Paul said: “Conor, Conor is way easier than Floyd Mayweather.
“Conor is way easier than Floyd and Conor, just like Ben Askren is doing currently, Conor will underestimate me, he’ll come into the ring, be like ‘this is an easy payday’.
“He just doesn’t have that hunger anymore, that’s why he got starched in his last fight, it’s because he has everything. He doesn’t need to fight for s*** anymore.”
With Holyfield telling the Sun when asked about his plans to fight Tyson: "The thing is that if it’s meant to be it will happen, either way, it is what it is.
"What I can tell you is that my team is talking to Mike’s management.

"I’m waiting for a decision. They are communicating right now.
"The thing is I’m still training for this, I know it will be some day this deal will happen and I’m ready for him.
"I’m doing OK."
