Jake Paul offered move into WWE after ‘pretty cool’ exploits in boxing career
Jake Paul has been offered the chance to step into the ring with a WWE superstar after impressing as the "bad guy" during his short boxing career.
The 24-year-old former YouTuber is set to go one-on-one with Tyson Fury's brother Tommy later this month in what will be his first proper bout against a professional boxer.
Paul is currently 4-0 between the ropes but has notably only fought former MMA fighters, a former basketball player and a fellow former YouTube star.
His fight against Fury is garnering a lot of media attention, particularly after things got heated during a recent pre-fight press conference, and current WWE star Drew McIntyre says Jake's future could lie in wrestling.
The former WWE Champion praised the youngster's ability to draw heat and even likened him to boxing legend Muhammad Ali.
"Jake Paul is a foe of everybody I guess [laughs]," McIntyre told talkSPORT.
"He gets it. So few people are willing to be true bad guys and make the public pay to see them get beat and he is a true bad guy.
"Whenever I see him show up at these events and the whole crowd starts booing him, I'm like 'wow, that's pretty cool'.
"It’s like Muhammad Ali back in the day. Everyone just remembers the good parts and how great he was, but if you remember in the beginning of Ali’s career, he was playing the heel (bad guy), making people hate him so they would pay money to see him get beat.

"He [Jake] is basically the number one heel in the world so if he wants to swing by WWE and get clamoured in the face, that’s just fine with me," the Scot added, referring to his Claymore Kick signature move.
It wouldn't be the first time a boxer has ventured into pro wrestling.
Tyson Fury defeated Braun Strowman via count-out at a WWE event in 2019 and is rumoured to be in talks over a programme with McIntyre in 2022.
Floyd Mayweather also fought and beat The Big Show at Wrestlemania 24 – WWE's biggest event of the year – in 2008.
