- However, YouTuber Paul is confident that ‘old may’ Mayweather is way past it
Jake Paul has confidently claimed that he is not worried by Tyron Woodley enlisting the help of legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather ahead of their bout on August 28.
Paul and Woodley meet inside the squared circle in what will be one of the biggest combat sporting events of the summer, with the pair deep into their respective training camps ahead of next month’s fight in Las Vegas.
Former UFC champion Woodley will be making his professional boxing debut when he meets unbeaten Paul next month and has been training with Mayweather as a result.

And while Woodley now has the help of a 50-0 legendary boxer in his corner, Paul is undeterred by the two ‘old men’.
‘How is Floyd Mayweather (who couldn’t even get in shape or come up with a strategy enough to beat my brother) gonna teach another old man how to beat me?’ Paul said after learning of his opponent’s new training partner.
It isn’t the first time Jake Paul has had beef with Mayweather.
Ahead of ‘Money’s’ exhibition-style fight with Jake’s brother, Logan, the 44-year-old was sent spinning into a red-faced rage after Jake stole his cap during a press conference in May, with the confrontation resulting in an ugly brawl breaking out between both camps.

Woodley believes he can bring Jake Paul’s unbeaten record to an end when they clash
With tempers flared, Jake was left sporting an apparent swollen black eye while Mayweather could reportedly be heard declaring: ‘When I catch you, motherf***er, I’ll kill you motherf***er! You crazy?’
Mayweather clearly hasn’t forgotten about the incident and is making it his own personal mission to make sure Jake is taught a lesson in the ring by helping Woodley in the weeks building up to the fight.
Mayweather’s involvement or duration of training Woodley is unclear but it was the veteran boxer who first reached out to the 39-year-old last month.
‘Get me Tyron Woodley,’ Mayweather told reporters in early June. ‘I’m gonna make sure I get him in camp, and I’m gonna train him for this fight.

‘I want Tyron Woodley to come to Las Vegas and work with us.’
Mayweather’s remarks came just a few days before he took on Logan in an exhibition match in Florida.
The fight went the full eight rounds, but no winner was announced at the end of it.
But next month it will be Woodley’s turn to face a member of the Paul family, who has defeated fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, Nate Robinson and most recently Ben Askren in his three professional fights to date.
