Jake Paul could crush hopes of rearranging Tommy Fury fight after many red flags
Jake Paul has warned Tommy Fury that he may not get another shot at the American after the Brit pulled out of their grudge match, which was originally scheduled for later this month.
Paul, who has won each of his four professional fights to date, was set to fight Fury on December 18 in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Fury – the younger brother of world heavyweight champion Tyson – is also new to the professional landscape although he has nearly double the number of wins of the controversial content creator, albeit against limited opposition.
Fury pulled out due to a severe chest infection and a broken rib, announcing the news by commenting that he was ‘heartbroken’ and hoped to fight Paul in 2022 – but the American has doubts over his commitment.
When asked if the Brit’s withdrawal gave him doubts about rescheduling for a future date, the 24-year-old said: “It does. He didn’t show up to a press conference and now he’s pulled out of the fight.
“He has done a terrible job of promoting the fight. He isn’t as hype as everyone though.
“I don’t like them. I don’t like anything to do with the family. They are sketchy, they are shady.
“I don’t see any reason to come back next year and give him a payday.
“It would be more fun to leave him in the dust.”

WBC champion Tyson Fury was set to be in his brother’s corner at the event in Florida after training the 7-0 boxer ahead of the clash.
Paul took aim at Tommy by suggesting he was only famous because of Tyson.
“[Tommy] has never accomplished anything himself,” he added. “The only reason he is anything is because of his brother.
“He’s had a silver spoon in his mouth for his entire life. He has got fame from his brother.
“He has never had a real opponent. His opponents were all meant to lose.

“I’m a scary guy to fight – the [trash talk], the pressure. All of this? He cracked and tried to find a way out.
“I truly believe that.”
Paul defeated fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson, retired MMA fighter Ben Askren and former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in his previous bouts.
Woodley has been announced as Paul’s new opponent, with the two men set to reignite their feud that preceded their clash in August.
