Despite making his professional debut just a year-and-a-half ago, Jake Paul is already one of the biggest names in boxing.
So far, the former Disney Channel actor is 3-0 as a professional, picking up stoppage victories over YouTube star AnEsonGib, former basketball player Nate Robinson, and MMA veteran Ben Askren.
Paul’s emphatic knockouts of Robinson and Askren were particularly stunning.
The Problem Child dismantled the former NBA player in just two rounds and sent him unconscious with a vicious right hand early in the second. He took even less time to deal with the battle-hardened MMA veteran, flooring 37-year-old Askren in just one round.
These impressive performances earned the social media star a lucrative contract with promotional company Showtime Boxing, with president Stephen Espinoza describing Paul as a “tremendous opportunity” for the company.
In a recent interview on Brian Custer’s Last Stand podcast, Paul was asked about his meteoric rise in the sport of boxing, and what could be the next step in his career?
It’s safe to say, Paul has some lofty ambitions.

"I am on a trajectory to become the biggest prize-fighter in the world,” Paul boldly claimed.
"For the kids, I look like Mike Tyson, your grandpa had Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson, your dad had Floyd Mayweather, this generation has Jake Paul."
This weekend, the Problem Child is set to return to the boxing ring against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in an eight-round professional boxing match.
The bout is expected to take place at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio, and will be Paul’s fourth professional fight.
Former UFC champion Woodley will be making his debut in the boxing ring, with the bout coming just a few months after his release from the UFC following four consecutive losses in the promotion.
Standout fights on the undercard include Amanda Serrano vs Yamileth Mercado, Tommy Fury vs Anthony Taylor and Daniel Dubois vs Joe Cusumano.
