Jake Paul challenged to “deserted island death match” by UFC star

Top UFC middleweight Sean Strickland said he would Jake Paul to fight to the death on a deserted island for $5million.

Paul picked up his fifth win as a professional boxer last weekend by brutally knocking out ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley in their rematch.

The 24-year-old called for fights with UFC stars Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal after his win, pleading Dana White to let them crossover to the ring.

Masvidal turned down a $5million offer from Paul – even though it would be the biggest payday of his career – demanding at least $20million for the fight.

And now the outspoken Strickland has said he would fight Paul for $5 million "to the death" on a deserted island.

"You offer me 5 MILLION to fight you, fuck we can fly to a deserted island in international water and fight to the death on YouTube for that kind of money," he wrote on Twitter.

"Bareknuckle, gloves, knives, clubs…. lol! Let's f****** go.."

Strickland – who is unbeaten in his last four fights – currently sits at No.7 in the UFC middleweight rankings and is scheduled to fight Jack Hermansson in February.

The 30-year-old has previously opened up about his past fantasy of murdering someone and credits MMA for saving him from doing so.

"I would walk down the street with like a knife or a rock hoping to kill somebody," he told MMA Fighting.

"I was fantasising, so I think that’s why my mum took me to train. Training allowed the outlet for the fantasy to stop, but if it wasn’t for that, I fantasise about it all the time."

Paul is currently taking a break from boxing after fighting four times in 13 months.

And Strickland labelled Paul a coward for fighting wrestlers, but part of him respects the YouTube star for earning big paydays.

"Jake Paul is such a f****** coward, you're picking guys who can't box, wrestlers. Jake Paul, for five million, I would fight you to the f****** death," he said to Helen Yee.

"I'm not even joking, I'm being 100% serious. I would go to a deserted island with you, today, and fight you for five million.

"But here's the thing about you Jake Paul, you're a f****** coward, you're a little b****, you're the millennial YouTube generation just doing s*** for attention.

"You're weak f*** man and you're gonna continue to be a weak f*** and make a s*** ton of money, that I respect you for but I also f****** hate you."
