Jake Paul and Tommy Fury clash backstage immediately after Tyron Woodley win

Jake Paul and Tommy Fury came face-to-face in an awkward showdown backstage following the split decision win over Tyron Woodley.

Paul continued his unbeaten run in boxing, with two out of three judges scoring the bout in his favour.

Fury also won on the night, beating Anthony Taylor on the undercard before calling Paul out for a scrap.

However, the YouTuber refused to confirm if he would fight the Brit next when speaking after his win.

And moments later the two men bumped into each other backstage, where things got a little bit heated before security and staff got involved to keep the fighters apart.

Paul's older brother Logan could be seen in the packed hallway, as the two men exchanged insults among a crowd of security guards.

Speaking in his post-fight press conference, Fury addressed the spat and said the pair almost came to blows.

But Paul was quick to play down talk that he would fight Fury next time out, saying: “I don’t know what to say, he’s a tough opponent, he’s been fighting for 20 years, I’ve been doing it for three, this one’s for Cleveland.

“It was a tougher fight than expected. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. All respect to Tyron. He’s a hall of famer, he’s a good fighter.

“There was a lot of s*** talk, there’s no hard feelings. I want to cry, but I’m a little tired. To win when all the pressure is on, he’s a tough opponent.

“I'm not sure [if Tommy Fury is next]. I haven't stopped, I need to figure who I am. I'm keeping my head on straight, I'll get back in the gym when ready. Let's see."

Fury went the distance with Taylor, continuing his unbeaten run in the sport.

“It wasn't my best performance,” Fury admitted afterwards.

“But I'm getting better, I'm trying my best.

“Looking at that, Jake should have an easy night, there are no excuses, I want you next you bum, let's get it on.

“I'm a seven-fight novice in the gym, nowhere near the finished article. I thank you so much for having me. Of course [I was nervous], getting in there and fighting, fight by fight I'm learning, we'll get there, slowly but surely.”
