After trading shots online and mocking each other over the past year, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury are set for a face off in the boxing ring soon.
The fight between Paul and Fury has been highly anticipated — especially after the two boxers had a heated backstage clash following their solo fights in August 2021.
Both boxers are unbeaten so far in their careers, with Fury holding a 7-0 record and Paul going 4-0.
Now, the two are finally set to have an official showdown with each other – and the date and venue of their showdown has finally been decided.
When is the Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight?
The fight is expected to happen on Saturday 18 December in Miami.
Sadly for UK boxing fans – the fight will likely take place during the early hours of Sunday morning — so it could be a late one!
The fight will take place at The Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, where earlier this year over 25,000 people gathered to witness Jake Paul's brother Logan take on Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Where can you watch the Paul vs Fury fight?
Given Tyson Fury's deal and the Fury family's connection with BT Sport, the fight is expected to be broadcast on BT Sport Box Office, especially since BT Sport also screened Paul's bout with Woodley earlier in the year.
After his fight with Anthony Taylor, Fury had challenged Paul saying ", I want you next you bum. Let's get it on."
Tommy Fury's dad John backs boxer to 'smash' both Jake and Logan Paul
He said, “Jake Paul should have an easy night, so he’s got no excuse in not taking the fight. Let’s get it on Jake Paul. I’ve done my bit, now you do your bit tonight."
More recently, Paul shared the pair's agreement on Instagram, one of the clauses being that Fury would have to change his name if defeated in the fight.
The YouTuber said, “If you beat me I will give you an extra $500,000. However, if you lose you have to change your last name for one year to Tommy Fumbles.”
In response to the bet, Fury said, “We have a deal. Get that sent over to my lawyers ASAP right now." He added, “We’ll get that looked at and sorted because there’s not a chance in hell you are winning this fight. You’re leaving on a stretcher. You’re getting knocked spark out and you know it. Get it over to me now."
