Jake Paul accepts Mike Tyson bout in one of the "biggest PPVs" of all time
Offbeat news from the world of sport
Jake Paul has accepted Mike Tyson's offer for a fight – and the YouTuber turned boxer thinks he would win the bout.
Iron Mike has claimed he would only fight Paul should their event look set to beat the all-time pay-per-view record. That number is currently owned by Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, who sold 4.6million buys for their 2015 bout.
Paul has now accepted Tyson's challenge when speaking to Boxing Social, and the Problem Child agreed it would beat the all-time pay-per-view record. "Ideally, for sure, that's legendary," Paul said of a potential bout with one of the all-time greats in Tyson.
"As Mike Tyson said on the Joe Rogan podcast, it would be one of the biggest pay-per-views of all time.
"Together when we were on the same card, we sold almost two million pay-per-views. It could be three million pay-per-views, four million pay-per-views.
"Mike Tyson like you said on the podcast, if you’re watching this, let’s make the fight happen.

Paul and Tyson were on the same card in 2020, for Iron Mike's comeback bout against Roy Jones Jr.
That bout received 1.6million PPV buys, but Paul has since gone on to headline three shows, and his bout again Ben Askren reportedly sold over 1million PPV buys.
