How to watch Taylor vs Ramirez, TV channel and live stream

Josh Taylor has the chance to make history in his massive title fight with Jose Ramirez on Saturday night.

The undefeated Scottish star can become the first fighter in the light welterweight division to unify all four of the belts should he beat Ramirez.

The fight is taking place in front of a crowd in Las Vegas, although Taylor's legion of British fans won't be in the building due to travel restrictions stopping them from making the trip Stateside.

The Scot is a slight favourite in this one against American Ramirez, but this is seen as one of the most exciting fights of 2021 so far.

In the four-belt era, no British fighter has ever been able to unify a division, and with Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury's bout seemingly dead in the water for now, it looks like this is the best chance fans will have to see it happen.

Here is everything you need to know about Saturday night's fight…

What time is the fight?

The ring walks for the main event are expected at around 4am UK time, with the undercard kicking off at 1am.

How to watch on TV and via live stream

It can be streamed to your TV on the Fite TV app.

Taylor : “It was pretty cool the first time I saw my face up on the billboard outside the hotel, it was a pinch me moment – all the hard work, dedication and dreams had come true.

"It has come to fruition but the dream hasn't finished. I still have to go in there on Saturday and do the job.

“I quickly snapped back out of it.

“It was good for the first 10 minutes but now I've seen it a few times, I'm used to it now.

"I used to watch all the big Las Vegas fights, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, Oscar De La Hoya, I used to watch them all.

“All these big fights were in Vegas as well, but I never thought for one minute it would happen to me.

“It couldn't have been any further from the reality of it happening to me. It is pretty cool.”

Ramirez: “I am trying to reach a lot of people. Every person has an opportunity to do something good in the world and hopefully they take it.

“I know I’ve been really blessed. I have a beautiful family and support from the people who really matter to me in my community.

“Boxing defines me but I also enjoy sharing some of my glory with the less fortunate.”
