Anthony Joshua will unveil his new training team within the next two weeks ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, says promoter Eddie Hearn.
Joshua is poised to lock horns with Usyk for a second time this summer after suffering a conclusive defeat at the hands of the Ukrainian back in September.
AJ immediately exercised his rematch clause in the wake of the points humbling and, after briefly flirting with the idea of stepping aside and allowing Usyk to battle it out with Tyson Fury for the undisputed heavyweight crown, is now hellbent on regaining the WBA, WBO and IBF titles.

In order to do so, the Brit is looking to make alterations to his training team in the build-up to the rematch, with long-time head coach Rob McCracken’s position as the lead man in the corner now in doubt.
Since losing to Usyk he has visited a number of high-profile trainers in both the UK and the States, including pound-for-pound chief Canelo Alvarez’s esteemed coach Eddy Reynoso.
And Hearn has revealed Joshua will finally announce his new training team, which could still include McCracken in some capacity, within the next fortnight.
‘If we’re looking at May or early June for the fight, you’re talking about 12 or 14 weeks to go, so we’re probably two weeks away from starting full camp,’ he told Betfred.

‘And I’m sure Anthony Joshua and his team will announce any additions to that training team in due course.
‘He knows what he’s doing and where he’s going.’
With uncertainty still surrounding his opponent’s training situation, Usyk recently made a sarcastic offer to train Joshua once his career draws to a close.
‘I don’t think or care about what he is doing. I don’t care if he changes his trainer or his camp,’ the unified champion told Behind The Gloves.
‘I know I have my team and trainers and I really don’t care about how he prepares.
‘In five years’ time when I have retired, if he still wants a new trainer then, I can help him establish a team.’
