Frazer Clarke once separated Joshua and Whyte and is set to make his pro debut
The man who stepped in to separate Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte after the two came to blows at the end of the first round of their 2015 bout is set to make his professional debut.
30-year-old Frazer Clarke, who won a Bronze medal at the Olympics in Tokyo last summer, is set step into the ring on February 19 on the undercard of Amir Khan v Kell Brook after signing professional terms with Sky Sports and BOXXER.
"I am delighted to be making my debut on such a big night for British boxing," Clarke said.
"Both Amir and Kell are legends so to be on their undercard is amazing. Burton is my home and a place I love but Manchester holds a special place in my heart, so to start my journey in front of their fans is special.
"Training is going great and I am 100 per cent focused on putting on a spectacular and entertaining show for everyone in the pros."
Clarke is a long-time sparring partner of Joshua's and was working as a fight-night security guard six years ago when AJ extended his professional record to 15-0 with victory over Whyte.
Chaos erupted at the end of the first round when AJ struck The Body Snatcher seconds after the bell sounded, before Whyte threw two punches back, sparking an in-ring melee between both men's entourages.
Clarke was one of many security guards who helped settle things before Joshua went on to knock Whyte out at the O2.

After being pipped to selection for the London 2012 Games by Joshua, Clarke set his sights on competing at Rio 2016.
However he was pipped again, this time by Joe Joyce, who went on to claim Silver in Brazil.
But after winning the Commonwealth Games title in 2018, his stock began to rise and he earned a seat on the plane to Tokyo, and dutifully brought home a medal for Team GB.
