Floyd Mayweather makes honest admission over training to fight Logan Paul
Floyd Mayweather has admitted that he is "not in training" to prepare for his exhibition boxing fight against YouTube star Logan Paul.
The legendary boxer was set to fight Paul on February 20 but the event was delayed and a new date has yet to be announced.
Speaking in a video on his YouTube channel earlier this month, Paul revealed: "The Mayweather fight is pushed [back] which I am completely OK with.
"The fight's still happening [but] we want to have a packed arena somewhere and then the business side of things, we have to iron them out.
"He's got a lot of people on his team, [his advisor] Al Haymon got involved, if you know boxing, you know what that means for getting an actual deal done and figuring out a venue.
"I need as much practice, training, sparring under my belt against this guy. With every day that goes past I get better and he gets older."
Mayweather recently threw a lavish 44th birthday party and offered an update on the fight, insisting it would be rescheduled.
He said: "I know it's going to happen. We're just going to make sure everything's right, everything's where it should be."
The 50-0 star also admitted he was "not in the best shape", adding: "Well, I'm not in training but I always try and maintain my weight and keep my body in some type of good condition.
"I'm not in the best shape of my life but I'm in good shape. I can take my shirt off at the beach."
In a recent post on Instagram, Mayweather revealed he is planning to have more exhibition fights this year.

He wrote: "This year I will focus on several exhibitions. I will have an exhibition in Tokyo, Japan again. Of course the one with Logan Paul and I ; and if Jake Paul can get past his next opponent Ben Askren, I will have an exhibition with him as well.
"I also heard that 50 Cent would fight me but claims I'm too small. If he wants to lace up at the end of the year, we can do an exhibition then.
"I don't care about weight class with any of these guys. The Paul brothers will make great money with the events, but with 50 Cent It has to be ‘Winner Take All’."
