Floyd Mayweather covered in blood as he trains for Logan Paul fight
Floyd Mayweather has been pictured splattered with blood in training as he steps up his preparations to fight Youtuber Logan Paul.
The greatest boxer of his generation, 44, steps into the ring with Paul for a six-round exhibition bout at the Hardrock Stadium in Miami, Florida on June 6.
And Mayweather has dispelled any notion he is underestimating his novice opponent by working overtime in training.
Pretty Boy Floyd has been taking part in some gruelling sparring sessions, and posted images of himself splattered with blood to Instagram.
The fighter captioned the images: "This s*** is blood, sweat, and tears for me."
One boxing fan responded to the post: "Please knock out Logan in the first round so the YouTube kids may never f*** with the real ones again!"
Another added: "Logan Paul just left the chat."
Mayweather's good friend and former world champion Badou Jack was asked for his say on the upcoming bout in a recent interview.
And he agrees with the vast majority that Mayweather will be able to pick and choose what he does with Paul in the ring – toy with him or knock him out.
Jack told iFL TV: "It's 50-pounds difference but he can't really fight so it's different being in there with a guy like that.
"Maybe he stops him with a body shot, maybe he just plays and has fun, I don't know, it's entertainment."
