Australian boxing world champion Ebanie Bridges has copped savage criticism from fans after attending the Anthony Joshua fight with UFC superstar Conor McGregor in a revealing outfit.

Bridges created headlines all over the world when she attended Katie Taylor’s homecoming fight against Chantelle Cameron in Dublin with McGregor back in May.

She and McGregor posed for several photos that quickly went viral, with the Aussie IBF bantamweight queen later joking that she felt she’d been ‘manhandled’ by the UFC great.

This time Bridges showed up to the O2 Arena as part of McGregor’s entourage with a couple of other scantily clad women, showing support for McGregor’s Irish Forged Stout beer.

She posted on twitter: ‘Keep an eye out for me ringside with my pal @TheNotoriousMMA and make sure you get a @ForgedStout.’

However, not everyone was impressed by seeing the pair together at the event, with some insisting the former Sydney maths teacher was ‘chasing clout’.

‘Worst PR disaster in history. No respect or dignity,’ commented one Instagram user.

‘Biggest clout chaser I’ve ever seen proper desparado. Cocaine Conor,’ said another.

‘You were following him around like a lost dog last night. Half embarrassing,’ said a third.

‘Do anything for a fiver. Embarrassment to boxing,’ replied another.

Others were outraged on behalf of McGregor’s fiancée Dee Devlin, whom he has three young children with.

‘He’s a married man your lowering your self hanging about him half naked, you’re world champ you ain’t gotta do that,’ said one Instagram user.

‘Home wrecker,’ another wrote.

‘Bet Conners wife is loving this lmao,’ said a third.

Bridges also copped plenty of criticism when she launched her OnlyFans account in December before her spiteful world title showdown with rival Shannon O’Connell, and says she doesn’t regret the move one bit.

‘I was the first female boxer on OnlyFans, but now you’ve got Mikaela Mayer, Siniesa Estrada, guys like Devin Haney, Derek Chisora, Andy Ruiz, a whole bunch of influencers that are using it,’ Bridges told News Corp.

‘It’s not porn, it’s moving away from porn.

Considering the fact Bridges’ fellow Aussie, music star Iggy Azalea, says she’s earning millions from OnlyFans, the boxer is likely seeing exponential growth in her bank balance – even if the move has seen her get criticised online.

‘It’s like when I first came on the [boxing] scene and I was weighing in in lingerie, it’s something different and people can’t handle it, they’re not open-minded,’ she said.

‘For me personally I have to do what’s right for me and it [OnlyFans] is setting up generational wealth.

‘Women’s boxing is not like the men’s [in terms of earning power] – we’re getting there – but why wouldn’t I make money on the side if I can?’

Bridges is immensely popular with fight fans thanks to her all-or-nothing style in the ring, risky sense of humour, intelligence and habit of wearing eye-catching outfits to her weigh-ins.
