Hearn responded after Arum said his greed stopped Anthony Joshua from facing Tyson Fury

Joshua’s promoter Hearn told iFL TV: ‘This is a guy, he is unquestionably the greediest man I have ever met in my life, Bob Arum.

‘But it’s all very strange, just to put it into perspective; we asked for a deal from Saudi, with the approval of all the parties of what they wanted.

‘Are you happy to accept this number? ‘Yes, go and ask them for that Eddie’. I went and asked them for that, they said yes.’

Hearn had arranged a deal for Joshua to take on Fury in Saudi Arabia on August 14

However, the fight won’t happen, with Fury having to face Deontay Wilder in a trilogy fight

Hearn also referred to Naseem Hamed, who said in 2018 that Chris Eubank Jr should retire at the age of 28 following his defeat to George Groves.

Hearn said: ‘There was no going back for more money or give them TV, it was all agreed between the parties. He is talking absolute s***.

‘In fact, he needs to go. What was it Naz said? You just need to go, just finish, just finish.’

Hearn had arranged a deal for Joshua and Fury to put all of their titles on the line in Saudi Arabia on August 14.

However, Deontay Wilder was given the right to take on Fury in a triology fight, which put paid to the latter’s clash with Joshua.
